The Canon Young Champion of the Year Award is one of our most popular categories and, in 2021, received the highest number of entries from the most countries to date. Forget dry January. This month, we are raising a toast to sustainable beer after catching up with Toast Ale. In 2018, Toast won the Global Good Award for Best Eco-focused Small Enterprise for their beer brewed using surplus bread. Will the Green Claims Code Get Rid of Greenwash?

The Green Claims Code announced in September by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has come in to force this month after a review they led reported that 40% of firms’ green claims could be misleading.
