Where Are They Now? Leading the Sharing Revolution...

If timing is everything, the pace of OLIO’s progress from idea to launch was a real indication of their potential. Back in 2017, OLIO was recognised as a One To Watch in the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Award category for their food sharing app. They had already given 150,000 food items to the community, saving 35 tonnes of food going to waste. With the environmental impact of food waste under greater scrutiny and at a time when aiding connections within communities has perhaps never been more important, we were inspired

Rewarding Action

In his speech at Chatham House last week Alok Sharma warned that the agreements made at COP26 are just ‘words on a page’ without action. We couldn’t agree more. Entries are open for approximately 12 weeks so there’s plenty of time to apply and have your actions to drive social and environmental change recognised and celebrated.
