Like everyone, we have been horrified by the unfolding tragedy in Ukraine and are keen to help. Although many have kindly donated much needed funds, several people in the Global Good community have expressed their deep feelings of helplessness - sentiments we all share, so we have a plan and would love your support if, like us, you feel you need to do more. Between our charity, medical and military contacts, Karen & Beth are supporting organised deliveries of humanitarian supplies to the Polish/Ukrainian border and, for ease and speed of delivery, we have an Amazon ‘wish list’ of requested top priority items. Please get in touch ASAP if you would like the link. The 18t truck pictured will be leaving Sussex next Friday 18th. Our partners, Work For Good, posted this article to show how UK businesses can support the people of Ukraine and James Sutton, our new judge, shared Raleigh International’s advice for individuals wishing help. Please just ensure that if you’re donating goods, you check it’s a co-ordinated and well organised effort, otherwise it could get caught up in customs and not reach the people that really need it. The Key Principles of a Sustainable Supply Chain
Last week, we hosted the first of a series of webinars with our highly esteemed panel of experts who discussed the complexities and vast range of considerations when creating a sustainable supply chain. You can see the recording here. Next month we will be hosting a webinar about Carbon Offsetting so stay tuned!
